1 Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected when you play Lavanana (the "App"), published by Lince Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to the terms described in this document.

Lavanana is an offline-first puzzle game. The vast majority of your progress is stored only on your device. The only data that leaves your device is what you voluntarily choose to send (your leaderboard nickname) and the minimum technical data required to keep the App stable and to display advertising.

2 Information We Collect

2.1 Information you voluntarily provide

Leaderboard nickname: if you choose to participate in the global speed run leaderboard, we ask you to pick a public nickname. This nickname is associated with an anonymous identifier and is visible to other players next to your best time. We do not ask for your real name, email address, age, postal address, or phone number.

2.2 Information collected automatically

2.3 Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, precise geolocation, contacts, photos, device files, microphone, camera, or payment data. The App contains no in-app purchases.

3 Local Storage on Your Device

Your game progress — unlocked level, bananas, casino chips, medals, per-level times, nickname, audio and language preferences — is stored only on your device's local storage in a database encrypted with AES-256.

The encryption key is stored in the operating system's secure keychain (Keychain on iOS / Keystore on Android) and never leaves the device. This data is not sent to any server and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

4 How We Use the Information

We use the information described in section 2 only for the following purposes:

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for profiling outside the game. We do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

5 Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

Firebase Authentication
Google LLC · Generates anonymous identifiers for the leaderboard
Cloud Firestore
Google LLC · Stores public leaderboard entries
Cloud Functions
Google LLC · Validates and stores scores
Firebase Crashlytics
Google LLC · Automatic crash reporting
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
Google LLC · Displays ads
Google Play In-App Review
Google LLC · Displays the store listing for leaving a review

These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Google offers international transfer mechanisms compliant with GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses).

6 Local Notifications

If you grant permission, the App schedules local notifications on your device:

These notifications are generated locally; no server sends push notifications to your device. You can disable them at any time from your operating system's notification settings.

7 System Permissions

The App requests the following permissions:

Permission Purpose
Vibration Haptic feedback when falling into lava or triggering combos
Receive Boot Completed (Android) So that scheduled notifications continue to fire after a device restart
Notifications (Android 13+) Optional — to display the reminders described in section 6
Internet Access Required for the leaderboard, ads, and crash reporting

8 Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

You have the right to access, rectify, and erase the data associated with your nickname, as well as to object to its processing. The App offers the following options inside the Settings menu:

If you wish to exercise any other right granted by applicable law (GDPR for EU residents, CCPA for California residents, or other local frameworks), contact us at the address in section 12. We will respond within a maximum of 30 calendar days.

9 Data Retention

10 Security

We apply the following technical measures:

We do not store passwords, banking data, or personally identifiable data beyond the public nickname you choose.

Although we take reasonable precautions, no online system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of transmitted data.

11 Children and Minors

The App is suitable for all audiences but is not specifically designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information (for example, by choosing an identifiable nickname), please contact us and we will delete it without delay.

Ads served by Google AdMob may not always be suitable for minors. If Google Play categorizes this application as suitable for children under "Designed for Families", we will configure AdMob in accordance with COPPA restrictions and Google Play's Families policy.

13 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal changes or new features of the App. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the document and, if changes are substantial, notify you within the App itself or on the Google Play listing. We encourage you to review this document periodically.
